Background and Experience Matter

As a highly respected Former Senior Internal Revenue Agent with the Small Business Self Employed (SBSE) division of the IRS for over 10 years, I have a comprehensive knowledge of the tax laws, accounting principles, accounting methods, and auditing techniques. My tax auditing experience includes examining federal tax returns of individuals and small businesses, tax preparers such as accounting firms, CPA's and Enrolled Agents as well as assisted in joint criminal investigations.

I participated in and greatly impacted many special IRS auditing projects such as the National Research Program Specialist for business returns, the Earned Income Tax Credit- Real-Time Project Specialist, and the Certified Acceptance Agents.  In addition, I conducted QuickBooks presentations and training for the Internal Revenue Agents and Revenue Officers as the designated QuickBooks Electronic Resource Person for the local IRS office.

I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Accounting at the University of Maryland and Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing at Florida International University.
