As a highly respected Former Senior Internal Revenue Agent with the Small Business Self Employed (SBSE) division of the IRS for over 10 years, I have a comprehensive knowledge of the tax laws, accounting principles, accounting methods, and auditing techniques. My tax auditing experience includes examining federal tax returns of individuals and small businesses, tax preparers (CPAs & EAs) as well as assisting in joint criminal investigations.
I participated in and greatly impacted many special IRS auditing projects such as the National Research Program Specialist for business returns, the Earned Income Tax Credit- Real-Time Project Specialist, and the Certified Acceptance Agents. In addition, I conducted QuickBooks presentations and training for the Internal Revenue Agents and Revenue Officers as the designated QuickBooks Electronic Resource Person for the local IRS office.
I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Accounting at the University of Maryland and Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing at Florida International University.
